Activities

Youth

Our Annual projects have been to support Youth Activities such as sponsoring students to Boys and Girls State, provide Savings Bonds at the non-alcoholic graduation festivities, sponsor softball and baseball teams, present each first grade pupil in School District No.1 with an American Flag and a brochure about Flag Etiquette.

Sight Sight Conservation includes: providing eye exams and glasses for the children in the city, supporting the local blind association, Montana Low vision, Montana Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation, Leader Dog School and Christian Records.

Community

The Butte Mile-Hi Lions Club has continued to support many community projects throughout the years. A few of the projects are: Silver Bow Blind Picnic, Independent Living projects, support the Silver Bow Blind Association, Home for Kids, Y.M.C.A., barbecues at the local nursing homes, Paint the Town, White Cane Days and Adopt the Highway Clean-up program. Most recently we have completed a Lions Rest Shelter on the walking trail. (Picture on index page)
